    Default Remaining egg died

My remaining pygmy egg became very dented and dark coloured and had bugs crawling all over it. I cut it open and he was much more developed compared to my previous pygmy egg. although one of his arms was longer then the other at the front. It was a shame. I could even see the stripes around the kneck comming through. I no longer have any more pygmy chams or eggs so I think i'll be out of this pygmy scene for a while. Fun while it lasted.

Sad to hear that. How did you incubate the eggs ?

When i incubate my eggs i use homus instead of vermiculit. I incubate the egg in little over normal room temperatur 23-25 degres celcius. I put the box with the eggs on top of the terrarium in my terrarium-room. The temps in there are between 22-26 degres celcius.

This has always worked almost perfect for me.

Hope you get luckier next time.

    Regards
    Daniel
