    Default how do you....

    breed yours? lol
looking at different peoples set ups an doing some homework.i see some people use glass terrariums an have an active substrate.but if you breed your pygmys do you leave the eggs or collect them? if so then how do you go about doing this?
or mesh cage basic inside for easy cleaning an a tub with substrate for eggs.
    both seem to be successful.

I have the bioactive version. I don't usually see the eggs laid, therefore short of going through the entire substrate daily, there's no practical way to remove the eggs. It seems to work quite well for me. I just wiat for babies to appear. The last one was hanging upside down from the mesh roof right in front of the doors and nearly gave me a heart attack when I opened the doors to mist!

I have the glass terrarium with no active substrate just good ol' coco fibre, and for my first batch of eggs i caught her in the act, so wen she finished i just got a spoon from the kitchen and dug them out, put them in vermiculite kept damp and voila.

I use full screen terrariums, wooden terrariums and glass terrariums, it depends on which species is in the terrarium.
But I always digg up the eggs, because I feed a lott of insects of the forest. And they eat the eggs.
I always observe my pygmy's and I feel from time to time by the females for eggs. You can feel the eggs real soon.
When they laid there eggs, I digg them up and put them in a small container with vermiculite.

    Best regards,
    Tom
