Before you think about getting a Pygmy Chameleon, You must make sure you have all the correct equipment and Pygmy requirements.

I have made a list of items that i think are needed for a pygmy setup.

1. Exo-Terra Style Terrarium - Size depends on how many pygmy's you plan on housing.
2. Substrate - Exo Terra Plantation Soil / Top Soil or something similar.
3. Drainage - Hydroleca and Weed Guard.
4. Sphagnum Moss - Excellent for increasing the overall humidity inside the terrarium.
5. Thermometer - Temperature Gauge.
6. Hygrometer - Humidity Gauge.
7. 2% UV light - Helps with the growth real plants in your terrarium.
8. Plants / Decor - House plants are ideal along with some type very small branches.
9. Spray Bottle Or Misting system.
10. Food - Crickets / Curly Flies / Wax Moths
11. Supplements - Vetark Nutrobal is ideal for dusting the live foods.
12. A little bit of knowledge - Use our forums or Information Pages ( We are all learning something new each day ).
13. Some quality time to spend with them.

Now that you have all of the above your are fully prepared and setup to keep a Pygmy Chameleon.
