Default Dark colors on female brevicaudatus

Hey everyone, i have what i think to be a pair of Rieppeleon brevicaudatus and who i think is the male is awesome. Always cruisin around eating everything in site and just doin great. The female however lately has been kinda of hiding in the back of the cage with really dark colors. I dont know whats going on! When i got them in the mail i found three eggs in with them and for some reason the person i bought them from also threw in a Rhampholeon temporalis but i gave him to a friend. I figured it was the brevicaudatus female that layed the eggs, whoever laid them only layed three so i figured i would have more eggs very soon. Just went through the whole cage and found no more eggs! I'm not thinking maybe i have two males and the temporalis layed the eggs. So i will post some pictures and you guys can let me know what you think of my situation and what u guys think should be done, im putting pictures of their cage and the chameleons. the male is the lighter one on the right, the female is the rest of the pictures except the light chameleon. Thanks guys! Could she be egg bound?

Without knowing exactly who laid the eggs its difficult to say! is your male in display colours? I have a male that is constantly hounding my females even when they pregnant with eggs and it gets them really stressed out. might be an idea to take her out and put her somewhere else for a few days and see if that helps. Does she have sunken eyes? that is a sign of being egg bound. the eggs inside draw out all of the water from the mother which gives the sunken appearance. if they dont lay the eggs they become too big to be able to be laid and in the end pass away.

as for there being more eggs, pygmy tend to lay all their eggs in one go and 3 is a usual number, my pygmy laid 3 eggs last month and another 3 yesterday.

well he is showing just sort of normal shade of brown nothing to flashy and he doesn't seem to follow around the female much at all. No her eyes are not sunken in so i guess she is not egg bound. she basically is showing all her cool horizontal lines but is very very dark while doing it. i might just separate them for a little while and see how that goes

they might just be her receptive colours letting the male know she is ready to mate? mine tend to go very light in colour, apart from one who goes dark when she is receptive. i wouldnt worry too much.
