Did the weightloss occur quickly? do you think there may be the possibiity that one could have laid some eggs somewhere in the set-up you have?
Hi - I have owned 2 rosette nosed pygmy chams for about 3 weeks. I am worried about one of them. He/she seems quite thin compared to when they arrived. I am not sure how much they are eating as I have only seen one of them catch a cricket once. Also, it goes very light, almost white in colour. I have had a close look at it's not anything ON the skin. They are both still climbing around & they bot spend most of the time up on plants not on the soil. Does it sound as if there is something I should be concerned about

The one just doesn't seem to as well built as when I got them, so over about 3 weeks - I have been checking for eggs but the one I am concerned about was always the "skinnier" of the 2, so I assumed Male. I am just worried being a newbie - the colours they go, I haven't seen them eat etc...
can you get some close up pics of them both for us to see, maybe we can help you a bit better then. hopefully your little cham will be fine!
I have taken some photo's -not very good quality but I am having trouble uploading them to this site
you can upload them to photobucket and then paste the link on here and it will work that way.
