    Default help getting temp lower.

    Hi.
The temps in my pygmy tank is staying between 80-85 in the day! There near a door and I only have a 5% uv above them so shouldn't give off much heat.
I have 3 in a exo Terra 30 x 30 x 45 and they seem happy but I no there temp should be around 70.
Any suggestions on a small fan that could go above the tank? Would it work? Where to get a fan that looks good and doesn't stand out.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Is there no other adequate place in the house which has a lower ambient temperature? If so i'd consider moving them to there, and/or, despite aesthetics, get a simple desktop fan and run it in the same room as them.

is your bulb in the exo compact canopy? and is it 26w? if so those bad boys kick off loads of heat from the ballast at the base of the bulb. change it to a 13w if you can, it should drop a few degrees then. also where is your temp guage in the tank and is it the digital one?

No its not under a canopy and there isn't even a heat bulb, just a uv bulb.
No were else that's cooler in my house, moved them earlier and removed the uv bulb and the temps went up into the 90s!
The thermometer is a digital 1 and I was near the top so moved it to the bottom and got similar temps.
They seem to b happy though and never have there mouths open like I would expect so starting to wonder if the thermometer is giving false readings.
