thank pygmywood i have been looking at flchams and i like them so far but i dont think i would get a chameleon off of lllreptile i like there supplies but i dont know after reading my new favorite book the lizard king i like to check the backround of the site before i make a purchase. and one more thing is a 18in by 12in by 12in big enough for 3 bearded pygmys?
if any budy out there could help me with plants for my 12''x12''x18'' exo terra terrarium i really need some help with plants i thought of using ficus benjamina but i thought that it woud get to big and then i thought of using a creeping fig but i heard that that spreads and will choke every thing out. and i need some help on how many bearded pygmys i can get in there comfortably i am hoping it is big enough for a trio? i am a first timer in pygmys and this is quite differant from my jackson that i had. any help would be greatly appreciated!
I would go with two for that size but it should do i have three in an 18x18x18 and they seem to be doing ok and i have a ficus in my set up and it to is doing well i also have a mimi palm and make that two ficus plants. What are you useing as a base layer in your setup i have clay balls screen a mix of eco-earth and plantation soil in mine works good i also added sprintails as well.
i have clay balls and then a regular screen and then a mix of zoo med eco earth and tropical moss in that brick form. i just got a trio today and they are pigging out i have some type of begonia i think that is what it is and then some fake vines.
