Default Safe paints for low humidity vivs

Having decided to juggle a few herps about and upgrade everyone, a natural move is to put my beloved F2 wild (and not 'het.' for anything!) leopard geckos into an enclosure that currently has a juwel aquarium background siliconed in.

I want to paint this, as it looks nothing like any natural rock I've ever seen and I do like a naturalistic look for my vivs. I was considering going out tomorrow to buy some water-based masonry paint but wondered if anyone had any better ideas?

    Thanks in advance..

Thank Darwin for cheap silicon! Managed to get the background out intact, so outside for a bash with some acrylic spray paint.

You'll know if it works because I'll post a photo, if not then assume the worst!

Call me old-fashioned but I'd rather station-feed my pets in a set up like this than keep them in a storage box with a couple of saucers for shelter...

Lovely looking leo's and set up.

Did you spray the background or is it a pre-made one?

    Viv looks awesome!

    Cheers!

Background is a juwel rock aquarium background but sprayed to match the existing rock that reminds me of the habitat shots. I'm a real biotope nerd, so this makes me happy

Not sure if I'm the only one not breeding leo's for mutations..

You probably are, but the original un-morphed Leo's are my favourites.

To be honest, with some species of snakes etc, it sometimes seems like a marketing gimmick. I wouldn't buy a dog with 5 legs!! ha ha.

However, a chicken with three legs, YUM! A leg each of all of my family

Everyone gets a leg - but how do you catch it?

I struggle not to laugh at the term 'investment grade' applied to even uglier banjo-pickin' inbred versions of lots of animals in the hobby. Those royal pythons just get more and more 'special'...
